DRAWING HAIKUS

The 5th art work that we have been told to do is to represent haikus. Haikus are a type of Japanese poetry and the poems have three phrases of 5, 7, 5 syllables, in this order.

We had two options; either making up our own haiku or using one that was written collectively by one seminar. As I was feeling inspirational, I decided to create my own. I ended up writing two but just using the first one I created, which you can read hereunder:

you play stupid games
I don't want to hear you say
that we'll be okay

The indications were that we had to do at least two different drawings of the same haiku in black, and if we had time, one in colour.
